Earlier this month we celebrated our first-ever Bike to School Day!
As part of National Bike & Roll to School Day, and in coordination with the League of American Bicyclists’ National Bike Month, Bloomfield Elementary School students enjoyed the opportunity to ride their bikes to school.
As part of National Bike & Roll to School Day, and in coordination with the League of American Bicyclists’ National Bike Month, Bloomfield Elementary School students enjoyed the opportunity to ride their bikes to school.
Students gathered at the tennis courts bright and early, before everyone began the ride to the elementary school playground. After finishing the ride, students had the chance to play on the playground, and freeze pops were also enjoyed.
Thank you to all the students who participated, the parents who got their children, bikes and helmets ready to ride, everyone who volunteered, and Coach Geiger for coordinating the entire event.
