remind for Parents

We are excited to share that Bloomfield is rolling out Remind District-wide! Many of our teachers and coaches have used it or are using remind now. If you're not already familiar with Remind, it's a classroom communication tool that makes it easy to stay involved with your child's learning. Remind is free to use, and you'll be able to get and send messages on any device—even a simple text message from your phone! As part of this rollout, official accounts will be created for all parents at Bloomfield on Monday, September 23. You'll receive an email or text message from Remind. All you need to do is follow the steps in the message to finish setting up your account. If you already have an account, no need to do anything else.

Remind is the platform we are using this year for emergency phone calls. You do not need the app or even a remind account to get the phone call. If you want text notifications about school emergencies and closings, download the remind app and enable notifications.  We will continue to post school closings and any other emergency information on the local news channels, the district facebook page and twitter account.
