Chess Team
I am the advisor for the Chess Team. Membership is open to any student grades 6-12. Some take a casual approach and only attend practice occasionally. Others are interested in mastering the game and wish to play in as many competitive matches as possible.
Bloomfield is a member of the Rochester Chess League. We practice after school once a week and participate in competitive meets monthly. As with other extracurricular events, students must be in good academic standing to participate in chess.
