Our 3rd graders enjoyed an exciting field trip on Monday, April 17th! They began their tour of the Cumming Nature Center in Naples with some trivia activities where they learned about different types of animals.
The group then attended an interactive presentation where they learned about different types of ecosystems, and the animals that live there. After the presentation the students broke off into groups and went on guided hiking tours of the trails around the center.
Following a brief lunch, the students again broke off into groups and took part in several activities, including a dam-building project.
