Reopening Plan for the 21-22 school year

The Bloomfield Central School District continues to commit to keeping our students, families, and staff safe.  Our 21-22 school reopening plan is still in draft format as we wait for guidance from New York State.  Once finalized, it will be posted here.

The Bloomfield Central School District’s primary commitment has been and will continue to be, to the students and families we serve. Our priority must be keeping them safe. When the 2020-2021 school year begins, on-campus school will look much different than previous years due to COVID-19 and the health and safety measures that continue to evolve.  This School Reopening Plan defines clear guidance for the reopening of our three school buildings and aligns with the guidance and recommendations we received from the New York State Department of Health, our local Health Department and the NYS Department of Education.
