This is my third year at Bloomfield Elementary School as the Library Media Specialist and I absolutely love being here.  I grew up in Victor, NY and am very happy to be living back close to "home."

I graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Human Development.  I then went to the University of Buffalo where I received my Master's degree in Library Science.

This is my 12th year as a School Library Media Specialist.  I was a School Librarian for 1 year at Livonia Primary School and then moved to Austin, TX with my husband where I was a Librarian in a K-5 school for 6 years.  After my son was born, we wanted to get closer to "home" and started looking for jobs on the East Coast.  We then moved to Columbia, MD for 2 years where I was also a School Media Specialist in a K-5 building during that time.  We finally made the move back up to Western, NY 2 years ago during which time my daughter was born.  I was fortunate to be able to stay home with my children for a year and then was extremely lucky to have been hired here in Bloomfield.

My son is a 2nd grader at Manor School in Honeoye Falls, NY and my daughter just turned 3 this past summer.  I also have a dog named Shelton who is a German Shepard, Chow Chow mix.

In my spare time I love to play with my children and read!
