Team Building with Project Challenge

This program is designed for all middle level students in grades 6, 7 and 8.  Students in the program will learn to solve problems, make decisions, set goals and develop communication skills in an atmosphere that is challenging, supportive and fun.  Participants will be encouraged to take reasonable risks which are essential components in the development of self-esteem.

The program will:

• Create a sense of team in the middle school community
• Promote trust, caring, respect and positive peer interactions
• Increase self confidence and a sense of responsibility
• Encourage self discipline, positive attitudes and perseverance
• Develop group cooperation
• Foster a sense of individual and group pride in accomplishments
