Most of your laptops have the ability to convert a file to PDF: *Create a document in Word, Publisher, etc. *Save your document. *While your document is still opened, select File => Print. *In the Print dialog box, go to the drop down arrow for printer choice. *Choose Broderbund PDF Creator. *Place a check mark in the box next to Print to File (upper right side of Print dialog box). *Click OK. *Go to the drop down arrow at the Save in choice in the Print to file dialog box and choose where to save your PDF file. *Go to the drop down arrow at bottom next to "Save as type" and choose "All Files". *Name the file as a *.pdf where the * represents your choice of a name. If your laptop or computer does not have the ability to convert a file to PDF: *Download Free PDF ReDirect: http://www.exp-systems.com/pdfredirect/downloads.htm?1
*Once the software is downloaded on your computer: - Open or create the document you want to convert to a *.pdf.
- Choose File => Print.
- Choose PDF ReDirect v2 from the Printer drop down dialog box.
- This prompts the PDF ReDirect v2 software to open.
- On the upper left side, navigate to the place you want to save your *.pdf.
- You should see your document in the merge list.
- Be sure your document is named correctly in the PDF Output Filename box.
- Click Save.
