Annual Budget Vote and Election 2018

One (1) vacancy for the Bloomfield Central School District Board of Education will be filled at the Annual Budget Vote and Election of Board Members on May 15, 2018.  There is one (1) five (5) year term available.  Petition forms may be obtained Monday through Friday at the District Office, located at 45 Maple Avenue (to the back of the elementary school) during the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  If you would like one mailed,  please call Debra Robinson, District Clerk, at 585-657-6121, x4004.

Petitions for nominating candidates for the Board of Education must be completed and filed with the District Clerk no later than 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2018.

Bloomfield Board of Education

The Bloomfield Board of Education is comprised of seven members who are elected by District residents and serve five-year, unpaid terms. They have the authority and duty to set policies within State and Federal laws and serve as the liaisons between the community and the educational staff.
